Thesis prize to young PhDs from the Alsace academic site who have written outstanding theses in environmental and sustainability sciences.

The FERED Thesis Award in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences rewards clearly interdisciplinary work in  environmental sciences. Work that combines, to varying degrees and in various ways, biogeophysical sciences to understand the functioning of ecosystems and human and social sciences to understand human relations, perceptions and/or associated policies and their evolution, will be considered with particular attention.

The thesis must have been defended during the calendar year 2021 or 2022 and must have been delivered by an institution of the Alsatian academic site member of FERED.

Candidates have until May 22, 2022 included to submit their application.

The FERED 2022 Prize, worth €1,500, will be awarded in Strasbourg during the environment day in early June.
