Thesis prize to young PhDs from the Alsace academic site who have written outstanding theses in environmental and sustainability sciences.
The RISE Thesis Award in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences rewards work that combines, to varying degrees and in various ways, biogeophysical sciences to understand the functioning of ecosystems and human and social sciences to understand human relations, perceptions and/or associated policies and their evolution.
The thesis must have been defended during the calendar year 2022 or 2023, must have been delivered by an institution of the Alsatian academic site member of FERED and must have been evaluated as 'excellent' or 'exceptional' by the examiners.
Candidates have until June 2, 2023 to submit their application.
The FERED 2022 Prize worth €1,500.
